Exactly how the heck do you shade when your using paint? What tool do you use? Ive always wondered about this ...

The pencil tool.

 

Just like all programs... :?

So you pick a lighter/darker color and fill it in with the pencil... hmm.. that takes long :lol:

It takes just as long with any program really...

Why bother making pixel art if you can't draw IRL?

If you had a basic grasp of anatomy IRL, I'd be able to tell with your mouse drawings.

 

 

 

I understand that its graudal, what I'm saying is pixeling will only slow you down, its an entire new discipline of techniques.

Well im trying to improve in real life so just be patient.......
