Do you mean pics like in sigs or just taking screenshots?

A fairly decent, cheap graphics editor is Paint Shop Pro. You can probably find an older version on ebay for around $20.

Irfanview is good for basic image resizing, converting etc. The Gimp is a photoshop replacemnet. Both are free.

Download the 'Howie's Quick Screen Capture Tool.' I know it looks freakishly childish, but trust me, it's downright useful.

I use the Gimp for making pictures, and LazySnap for taking screenshots.

I use the gimp and really like it. As for screenshots, I don't use a special program.

I got the powerhouse program, Macromedia Fireworks 8. Of course this is used for other things, But i like to use it for Editing pics on my site.

i use the GIMP and I have a mac so i don't need a program to take screenshots and save them automatically 8-)
