May 15, 200620 yr I need help on the quest Shadow of the Storm. I'm at the part where I have to infiltrate the group of dark wizards. Evil Dave won't let me in because I'm not "evil enough." I have tried talking to him with full shade robes, full black desert robes, and full zammy robes (all with the dyed silverlight). I have talked to Father Badden and Evil Dave multiple times (exausting the options, too). Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. rsn:llcoolguy972
May 15, 200620 yr Sorry you're having trouble. I assume you are following the Tip.It quest guide, http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=125 ? It says you need to wear at least two of any of the following black items, plus of course wielding the black mushroom-dyed silverlight (darklight): "Black Mystic clothes, Priest Gown, Shade Robes, Ghost Robes, Farseer Helm, Black Wizard Robes, Black Armour, mime boots, black cape and dyed desert clothes." I dyed desert robes cos I didn't know there were alternatives, lol. I think I removed all of my other clothing that wasn't black just in case, though from the instructions I don't think I needed to. I also suggest you check your in-game quest guide (hitting the asterisk to show the list, then hitting the quest), in case it points up some other step that needs doing ... You may have already done all these things; I'm just trying to run through the options. ;) Let us know how it works out. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
May 15, 200620 yr If I remember correctly, all I had was my mushroom-dyed silverlight and my darkly dyed desert robes. I know I definitely had at least those things.

Although, none of it really helped. :cry: I have been following tip.it's quest guide (and have even resorted to lesser guides like runehq and sal's realm :oops: ) but I can't figure out why I'm not considered "evil." I have talked to all the NCP's for the quest and have even "restarted" the quest. I'm posting on the official forums, too. If anyone else had this problem, I would greatly appreciate your help.

May 15, 200620 yr I remember doing this one,you have to wear complete black stuff,i used full black desert robes,darklight,black wizard hat and black cape and removed all other items,then it worked
May 15, 200620 yr Author I got past this part. Thanks for everyone who helped! (I thought the sword counted in the 3 "evil" items, but apparantly not :oops: )
