mchainmail
I have 4 mil gp, and am looking to increase it. I know I can merchant yews, coal, iron ores, etc. but I want to merchant rune armor. Should I just merchant full rune, or should I try and move into trimmed armor? If so, what prices?
eye_merchant
dont merchant full rune.. thats the worst. God armor isnt the best either. Runes is the best. Buy 4m gp worth of chaos (from shops) thens ell to players 150 ea. It will take your 4m to 6m. Then if you repete your 6m will be 9m. beast2008: 100 combat - banned july 9th 2006~R.I.P the old nite~

But wouldn't that also take a vast amount of time, switching from world to world gathering runes? The selling of runes is a great idea but I would think it needs to be done faster. You could try out the Rogue Trader mini-game with Ali Morrissane and then take a chance of getting a load of Chaos runes among other things for cheaper, but you never know what you're going to get. You can find a very snazzy Program to do your Sudoku puzzle for you if you just search Sudoku or Rogue Trader by Jeebe. I think I may try that if I happen to get a hoard of cash dropped into my lap. Sephiroth576
One method I've always used (keeping in mind I'm F2P) is merchanting Lobsters. Head over to Karamja island with the following items in your bag: Rune axe (or any type of log) Tinder box Air staff (should be equipped so it's not in your bag) Law runes Water Runes Coins (the amount depends on how much you want to spend merchanting) Once you're over there, buy as many Raw Lobsters as you can from the general store, and depending on how many are in stock you can buy them as low as 15-30gp each. Light a fire and cook the Raw Lobsters you just bought and since you now have a free space in your bag (after you lit the logs), buy one more and cook that one. If you happen to burn a few, just buy more Raw Lobsters and cook them until they're all cooked. Teleport back to Falador and bank them, then head back over to Karamja and repeat. Depending on how high your Cooking level is, you can cook a whole bag and not burn a single one. I'm at level 73 Cooking right now (if I recall correctly) and I rarely burn Raw Lobsters, so the process can go pretty quick. Once you have a fair amount of cooked Lobsters (or you're out of spending money), sell them on World 1 or on the RuneScape forums for 200gp each. Let's say you bought 1,000 Raw Lobsters from the general store in Karamja at an average of 30gp each, that's 30,000 coins you spent, but you make a 170,000 profit if you sell them cooked at 200gp each. I know this isn't the absolute best way to make money, but it's pretty efficient for a F2P player like myself. In a single day you can get the 1,000 Lobsters you need if you stay focused, but if you're like me you'll get sidetracked by other stuff... I hope this helped, even if it only did a little. Mat
Selling RAW lobbys in the forums will give you more profit as you can sell them 250 each to cooks
