ok well my pure has 45 mage and im buying 2.5k fire strikes and about how far would this get me. ill b wearing full blue mage robes and fire staff an mage ammy 2 hit better but will it get me to 59? if not how many should i get to get 59?

I'm not quite sure about your questions, it'd be better if you used the Tip.it's Calculator. It isn't exact, but gives a good measure.

No it won't get to 59, from my experience anyway.

 

 

 

Tip.it calc says 9500 fire strikes, but not sure if this is when you hit 0 or hit 8, theres a big difference. So it might be less or more than this.

 

But its probably at least 5k fire strikes. The best thing is to see how much xp you get from 1k casts, and work it out.

it wont get to 59 maybe about 53 or 54. u should try the calc but take off 1/4 strikes because of hitting 0s it may be more accurate but i dunno

yeah it is impossible to know, because sometimes u fail, sometimes you hit 8, sometimes you hit 1 this all effects how much xp you get per strike

 

if in doubt buy 1000 more strikes then is suggested

a good estimate would be assuming that you hit all of the numbers (0-9) with equal chance, so your average damage per cast would be 4.5 damage per hit, multiply this by 2xp, you get 9, and add this to 11.5, you get around 20.5 xp per cast on average. Multiply this by 2500, you get 51k xp, roughly.

I looked at the magic guide and the calculator to compare the xp shown.

 

 

 

The calculator shows the average xp per cast, so it should take around 9.5k fire strikes to get to 59.
