First of all I'm level 52 fishing, and I want to raise it a little bit.

 

 

 

I'm wondering what is the best XP possible.

 

 

 

Would it be this?

 

 

 

The back of shilo village furnace is a fishing spot where you catch trout and salmon, there is a bank right close to this place so its easy to bank.

 

 

 

Would this be faster xp than fishing lobbies?

Ya, that is the fastest method for fishing xp. But I like the fishing guild lobsters better. Don't forget about leeroy, :shock: .

Faster? Yes. More money? Yes.

 

 

 

If you strictly just want to level up fishing, and you have a couple hundred thousand gp to spend on feathers, then the shilo village salmon way is the best way to go. On the contrary, if you want to make money and gain exp at the same time, lobsters would be the better choice, though they do take awhile to fish.

At higher levels, monkfish on the Piscatoris Fishing Colony is pretty good-- a little faster than lobbies but more xp per catch. Of course, they take a reasonably high level to cook successfully with gauntlets, and there isn't much of a market.

with gauntlets? I thought Monkfish is unaffected by gauntlets

Fly fishing is the fastest fishing exp. That's what I heard. :wink:

Fly fish in Shilo Village...fast exp but VERY little profit.
