Featured Replies

ok people this is ultra wierld:

When i logged onto my account as unsual you know the page that comes up and tell you like how many days of membership you got left, how many emails jagex sendt you.

My probelm is each time i logged on it says. Jagex will never email you we use hte message centre on out website instead! So people is there anyway i can fix that?? help!!! plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not entirely sure of what you are asking...but i'll take a stab at it. Jagex never sends you e-mails, due to safety reasons, so instead, they use something called the message center. When you log in, the welcome screen displays the amount of messages you have from Jagex, which you can read by logging in to the main site. It is true that Jagex will never send you e-mails, but they may indeed send you messages. I hope this helps.

What i mean as the tern "email" are messages that jagex sent me. And each time i logg in the welcoem screen appears and it says in the message box thing that Jagex will never send me any messages... Hope you undetstand what i mean

I'm not sure if I do...the screen says that Jagex will never send any emails (meaning they wont send you something to hotmail, yahoo, aol, etc). However, they WILL send you messages through the message center.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thats what they mean they dont send me any messages from hotmail and stuff aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ty ty ty ty :D :)

Good answers given above.

For the record, there is another half to that "Jagex will never e-mail you" policy. Sometimes scammers send e-mails (to your regular e-mail account on yahoo, msn, aol, hotmail or whatever) stating that they are Jagex staff and you have been selected for blah blah blah and please respond with your name and password, or they may include a link to a website that LOOKs like RS (with a few added letters in the word, such as runescappe) and tell you to log in there.

These people then steal your account. So be wary of any E-MAILS you get, since Jagex promises never to send you any, and warns you to ONLY use your password at http://www.runescape.com. Okay? ;-)

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

um wow.....
