I should assume so, yes. However, autoers are not completly gone. I admit I go to certain forums that harbor these programs, though not to cheat, to investigate (Knowing your enemy is half the battle.), and only the majority are gone. Most autoers used a program called Ayran (Mods remove the name if you dont want people to know), and as far as I can tell, it analyzed the Java code. There are still other autoing programs that DO work (I won't tell you the name though, to prevent Google searches resulting in more autoers) that work based off automated scripts and color-based clicking. Most of the 15k ppl that got banned a while ago used Ayran. "We can detect this type of cheating VERY easily. Suprisingly some people seem to think they can get away with this, but we're making absolutely sure you can't." I moved on...
soupnatizzle
ya but the java based bots where 99 percent of it. people would set up 4= accounts to chop yews all day long. none stop! they can not do that with the color based mouse controlling programs (ya i knw some [cabbage] to) because you can at best get 1 account going per computer and it is not even half as reliable. jagex bassicly owned hardcore botters, most people that auto now are doing it on mains, or pkers and mostly on combat skills. its just to hard to cut and bank using colors. Umm not really, colors are just as easy to do and map walk is the same. People probably still bought there little script for 200k.
yomom1919
in a year? yes. in two months? no. heres why: so the autoers disapeared right? but the millions of yews they generated are still out there. just cause the tv maker retires doesnt mean the tv disapears. right now its up to are trusty-dusty fletchers to make the yew market stable again by getting rid of the millions of yews floating around. so grab your peice of iron with a cloth rapped around it and use it on a log everybody! soupnatizzle
thats besides the point, 1 person could have 10 accounts autoing at yews before, now they can get 1. and most gave up because setting up a color based bot takes much more time. my money is on prices go back up in a week or 2. anyone agree
nxnja
the color clicking auto programs arent easy to detect, but with the color clicking programs you cant use your mouse or auto on more than 1 account. with aryan, which analyzes rs code (goes by tile numbers, each square on runescape has a x, y point, so it goes by that.) it is very easily to detect, but you can run it in the background and run multiple accounts at the same time. with aryan you can run 10 yew cutters at the same time if your computer can handle it. but, this method is very detectable and isnt used on main accounts but on throwaway accounts. n64jive
New autos will come out that adapt to the new changes, but jagex isnt all dumb. The new engine has a way of detecting if you are cutting into the code to auto. Autoers will be 10x easier to detect and bann now.
Irool
No i don't believe they will there's more of those items coming into the game daily. It may help stabalize the price but I doubt it will shoot the price up. It's very hard for the price of an item that is still obtainable to increase in value, given the amount of people on runescape (unless an update changes the mechanics of that item like with essence) 100 Combat91 Strength70 Defense82 Attack85 Magic =)
