May 20, 200620 yr Pure essence has basically replaced rune essence before the update, while the rune essence now can only craft free runes (fire, water, air, earth, mind, body). You need level 30 runecrafting and be on a member's world to get pure essence, which you automatically get when you mine instead of rune essence. Why do you resist?
