May 24, 200620 yr Well I have made a website and was wondering if it is possible to get a free .com or .co.uk domain. Also how do I make it so that it comes up in searches in search engines? Thanks -Bloodangel "Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale."
May 24, 200620 yr .co.uk from http://www.123reg.co.uk will cost you about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã3 a year (you have to buy uk domains for at least 2 years tho) .com from http://www.namecheap.com will cost you $8.88 or about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã4.70 for a year You wont get a top level domain from anywhere for free. May 24, 200620 yr Ohh forgot to mention about search engines. A well made site that conforms to W3c standards will be picked up by search engine spiders eventually on thier own but you can also "add url" to most search engines who will then add your site to the spider list. Google for "search engine optimisation" for help getting the most out of searches Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. May 24, 200620 yr Thanks, I thought I would have to pay. Its always worth paying for a proper domain name. They look just a billion times better than any free service. http://www.woo-yay.net :D Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. May 25, 200620 yr Meta Tags for listing in Search Engines. While meta tags are still useful, most good search engines such as msn and google dont use them anymore.
