May 24, 200620 yr I am going to make a pking pure, i just want to know everyone's views on pures. Which pures do u guys think are the best? str, def, mage or range? and wat are the suggested stats for that kind of pure? this will really help me out! thanks a ton!! :D

May 24, 200620 yr mage + range + def. because pking is not a good way to make money cause youll only be pking other pures. staking, on the other hand, is a much, much better way to make money if you are skilled enough (its NOT luck!!!!!). plus staking is much more in-depth. for pking with pures theres only a few methods. however staking is your own personal compiliation. inventories are much different, and so are stratagies. if you disagree with me look at the avg. pure pking invo: a super set, d scim\whip, dds, and a bunch of sharks and runes. personally i think youll have alot more fun staking, but if you want to make a pking pure then do mage + str.
May 24, 200620 yr ah ok, but just for a side note, im not doing this for money, its all for fun! after all isnt that what we all play the game for? but yea i can see staking being a much better form of money, but for the time being im not getting members on my pure just yet so for a mage pure i should get mage+defense+range? sounds good! thanks guys!
May 24, 200620 yr dont get defense!!! leave it at 1. your ideal stats would be somewhere around here: range: 60+ ( you can hit 11's with rapid) mage: 59 (you can do Fire blast) strenght: 60+ attak: 40 or 45 def and prayer: 1!!!!! jav "Let your feelings be like that of a monkey in a pinata, hiding inside with the candy hoping that the kids don't break through with the stick."

May 25, 200620 yr but dont i want 25 prayer to use the protect item prayer? Depends... is saving your most expensive item (skulled) or a 4th item (unskulled) worth an extra 3 combat levels? Varies between F2P and P2P, of course, as the best bow of a F2P range pure or the staff of a mage pure is not fantastically expensive (actually, if you use a power ammy as a ranger, that would be the protect). Melee pures could save a rune weapon with protect - functioning as a "1 itemer" if the other items are expendable.

June 20, 200620 yr as long as you are f2p keep 1 def and prayer get stats like these 40 atk 60+ str 1def 1 prayer 70 range (hit 12 with addys on rapid) 60 mage (fire blast)
June 20, 200620 yr basically, a pure needs two things- 1 def and 1 pray u can expand on that and get high range and mage, and it won't affect you combat, as long a you have high str i'd say start out with 1 att, then get str up, then get 40 att for a rune scimmy, if u chose (ur combat will b lower if u use iron scimmy) and then get to a higher str lvl and then get mage and range going range (my fav of the three) in unfortunately only effective above lvl 60, but it isn't too hard to train, just kill chickens to 20, then guards to 40, and then anything else u can safespot to higher lvls mage is very effective in the wildy for the sole reason that most pkers are warriors, i reccomend trying to get 59 for fire blast (make sure to have a fire staff) and if ur p2p snare is quite effective, and if ur insane lvl 85 tele block is ultimately supreme basically, start out with str and then get mage and range going, but always remember 1 def and 1 pray
