you recharge them at an elf lady thats in the woods, its hard to describe were she is located but try looking for a dot walking around near the exit to the underground pass.

The topic of keeping your bow at 10..I doubt its true but if it was it would be a bug and you could get banned for doing it.

Yes, it is possible to keep one bow at 10/10 permanently whilst mainly using it, it's quite hard to though, you have to keep count of every shot, I don't think it's worth all the bother, although I will try it whenever I do fight caves(get/make my brother count every last shot!!). The uide is on another fansite so I can't give you the address :(

And it is really hard to explain where to recharge your bow/s, have a look on all the relevant tip.it maps, might be on one of them.

It's not a bug.. asked Jage about it and they said it's all good..

Here's a simple break down

Bow gets 2500 shots

10/10 so that's 250 shots per degrade.

You pick your NPC of choice to train on.

Kill 2 or 3 keeping track of how many shots it takes per kill.

So say it takes 20 shots per Blue dragon.

Thats 12 Blues per degrade.

So you switch to your full bow.

Kill 12 blues.

Switch to other bow. Kill the 13th bow degrades.

Switch back to 10/10 and rinse repeat.

If you have the time to do this good for you man.. just a lil time consuming for me currently.

off topic: Wakka.. that's some insane whip drop count you got!

off topic: Thanks :)

It's not a bug as I reported it to Jagex last year when I discovered it. Once they said it was legitimate to use this technique, I posted a guide on how to do it on the Official Forums and a graphic guide on RuneHQ. Reason why it's allowed is to fix the "bug" Jagex will have to assign ten decay counters to your character instead of the 1 you currently have. When your decay counter hits 0, it resets to 250 and decays whatever bow you're currently wielding.

Three ways to track your decay:

1. Count the shots - BORING, but precise

2. Track average number of kills per decay state - fairly accurate, sometimes you miscount. For myself it's 13 blue dragons, 22 green dragons before I switch to my decay bow.

3. Track your time - after about 10 minutes of full use, your bow decays. So use a stop watch. I do this at the wallasaki's and dagganoths as they're always attacking so I'm always using my bow. I switch a 10 minute mark and the bow soon decays. Reset stopwatch. Tomisme reminded me of this method (he loves the Crystal Bow after I showed him the exploit, I think he has 20 of them right now).

Benefits of this is having a Crystal Bow with +100 range bonus a majority of your 2500 shots. As you're still decaying a bow to a seed (your decay bow) you're still paying 72gp every shot. It's that every shot now hits it's max potential. Hence, an exploit but not a bad bug.

Any other questions?

Certainly not! You need to go to Ilfeen to recharge your crystal equipment.

Ilfeen is the charger as stated above.

She has two locations (she's a roving elf so she switches back and forth between them) which are marked on Tip.It's map http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=isafdar_arandar.htm

Both spots are just south of the East/West river below Prifddinas.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
