I'm currently level 71 and I am wondering what the best way to get 76 is, I just want fastest exp per hour

It depends in major ways if you're a member or a non-member.

 

 

 

For members, you can either hang out in Catherby and fish Lobsters and bank them because there's a bank about 10 seconds away. You could also try the Fishing Guild, but I don't know how close that is to a bank. I think the nearest bank is in Seers Village, and that's still pretty far.

 

 

 

For non-members, the best way to go is luring Salmon and Trout with Feathers. Salmon give 70 EXP and Trout give 50 EXP per catch plus they come really fast at level 71. The best place to go for this would be the Barbarian Village, and if you want to keep them you could just run over to Varrock's west bank. I've been fishing Salmon and Trout to get my Fishing levels up since I was about 50 and I'm 72 now.

I'd say lobsters are probably your best bet as they are easy to catch and you only get 1 type of fish, however fly fishing at shilo village is also popular though I don't know the exp per hour.

Yes. In fact, you make enough to buy DOUBLE the feathers.

I personally bought aroung 10k feathers and fly fished at shilo village ... and dont sell the fish to the shop if you keep your fish and cook them you can sell them to f2p players in world 3,4,or 5 (edgeville bank)
