June 2, 200620 yr so far I've only used steel and iron nails and noticed better success with the steel nails. just my observation, no scientific studies done.

Look it up under Construction - The Basics. Nails work slightly differently from other materials. You will sometimes find you break nails, especially if you have a low Construction level, so you may need to bring more nails than the furniture requires. Nails made of stronger metals will break less often.
June 2, 200620 yr But remember that nails aren't all that important. They're only used with plain wood, once you have even just hit oak you'll no longer need many nails. So is it good idea to spend a lot of money for many rune nails?
