  1. Shadow can be tricky, and I agree it's the hardest. Poison him first, then start running around casting earth spells on him. For ice, make sure you have tons of super restore potions and food ready. Killing the boss itself is not too hard if you have the prayer, but walking all the way up having all stats lowered to 1 is not that fun because you need to smash the ice by the end to free the trolls. Make sure you drink the potions so you can smash the ice easily.
  2. People only level up to 32 because they can then start growing ranarr weeds and make money. Plus it's quite a pain to obtain higher level seeds to powerlevel farming (unless you are willing to spend tons of money or spend days to pickpocket the master farmer).
  3. That's right. Burthope, not Taverly. The best way to get there is to use the games necklace to teleport.

    Yews

Tree Gnome is the closest. There are two yews right next to the bank and one a bit down.
  5. Rogues' Den is in Taverly. There's a trapdoor inside the bar right next to the barman. It's good for cooking because the banker is right next to the fire. Bank, take out the fish, cook, bank, and repeat. Virtually no walking at all.
  6. For yews, they are more like 240-250 each on the forums. You can get buyers for 300 each still, but you need a lot of luck. That's true. Compared to others, you can sell nats at 300 each very easily. The only drawback here is that he needs another 4 levels before he can do so. There are a lot of yew sellers on the forum constantly. So while it might be the easiest thing to do, you might need to spend a little extra time to sell those yews.
  7. Cutting yews, fishing lobsters, or spinning bowstrings.
  8. Yup, you not only need two bedrooms, but also beds in both before you can hire a servant. :)
  9. Around 1200 GP if I recall correctly.
  10. I agree, but even the logs/planks business can get very risky if you can't get out on time. Just look at what happened to the nails market and you'll see why. My hunch is to try buy steel bars from F2P and sell it in P2P. I'm not sure if you can still get cheap steel bars in F2P, but in P2P I can see them often go for 1K each. You can also try take a look at the laws market. With more and more people gaining higher construction levels, the demand for law will probably skyrocket.
  11. Markets always overshoot in one direction or another in the short run. Once the hype is over, things will gradually return back to normal. Just look at how the nails market behaved in the last few days and you'll be relieved.
  12. I agree. Before POH, high alch puts money into the economy way faster than it can handle. Now all of a sudden all those extra GP gets drained away. Jagex did another good job to control inflation after introducing crystal and barrow items (which requires repair). However, I think that prices of everything else will gradually go back up. Just look at the nails and planks market in the last few days and you'll see why.
  13. I just did a little testing, and it looks like unnoting items doesn't count towards the trip count (only when going to the sawmill and the bank). What I did is I first chop tons of oaks at Draynor, then teleport to house with hammer, saw, money, and all oak logs (in notes). I also bring a fire staff, nature runes, and magic longs (in notes). I high alch while I wait. Have the servant unnote and go to the sawmill for you (the cook can take up to 16 logs each time). I then use those 16 planks to make it into 2 larders (which uses 8 planks each time).
  14. According to the KB, yes. Look it up under Construction - The Basics. Nails work slightly differently from other materials. You will sometimes find you break nails, especially if you have a low Construction level, so you may need to bring more nails than the furniture requires. Nails made of stronger metals will break less often.
  15. The mine north of Yanille is the best place for iron. For coal, nothing beats the mining guild (but you need the level to get in). For mithril and addy, the Grand Tree is probably the best.
