June 3, 200620 yr Firstly, this question regards 2 of Runescape's rules: 1.No account sharing and 2.No multiple logging in I have 2 accounts (lets call them A and B) and 2 computers (lets call them 1 and 2). Ok, so far I only ever used Account A on Computer 1, and Account B on Computer 2. Both computers are connected to the Internet through the same modem, and as you all might know, the load page just before the game shows the IP address from which you last logged on. With both accounts, even though each is used on the different computers, I get the same IP number shown up. Does that mean that both computers have the same IP address because of the same internet connection? If so, does it mean that I can use both accounts on either computer, but cant be logged on to both comps at the same time. I really don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want to get banned, so any help would be much appreciated. thank you so much! 99 Ranged F2P achieved 21 November (2961st)
June 3, 200620 yr You can use both accounts on both computers. I have only account but it shouldn't matter, I use different computers too (same IP). Woot, woott...teach us uncle kll...
June 3, 200620 yr Author why would your different computers have the same IP though? oh, btw, thanks for answering 99 Ranged F2P achieved 21 November (2961st)
June 4, 200620 yr lol to save money on the internet bill. if you had to different modems the ip would be different but you would have to pay 2 internet bills per month. you probably have a router (not sure how its spelt) which means all computers connected to that mini internet network have internet but you only have to internet for 1of them as they use the same ip... im not sure i described that well  Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements
June 4, 200620 yr ffs i will settle this their is two types of ips a static and proxy ip (think soz) one of your ips is for your internet connection and one for your computer your internet one this one will never change but your static will. Runescape will look at your static ip and say hey 2 accounts on the came comp (IP) and not let u in. But it will allow it for 2 different on your same intent net provider ip. i am not sure about rules but account trading is not allowed and easily found out though unbalanced trades. wrote this fast soz if u can;t understand me ::.rsn is grechy.::
June 4, 200620 yr Well I thought you could go on more than one networked computers at a time until they thought I was account sharing with my friend and gave me a temp ban and two black marks, they also gave him the same punishment. But I suppose they can be suspicious of two people with the same IP trading with each other sometimes (we lend each other money alot) But you can you either account on either computer aslong as they dont interact, you could probably get away with going on both computers to trade stuff over but its risky. So just try keep the drop trading and logging in on both computers to a minimum, Laters, m3rl1n m463

June 4, 200620 yr any account can be used on any computer, and as the two have the same i.p., jagex think that youvare doing that anyway, so as long as you dont have the two interact IN ANY WAY then you will be fine Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.
