I'm just beginning to train magic, and I must say the task seems daunting. Is there any advice in particular that you would give as far as levelling magic?

what level magic are you? and are you f2p or members?

Ah, alright, sorry. Member, level 6 (like I said, just started working on it), non-PKer.

I did wind strikes til 45 and that took me 3 days of playing 4-5 per day...lol

 

 

 

also it helps to know your goal

a good idea it to get alot of ess, get a mind teira and a an air staff. Go to the altar ( north eastern fallador I belive) and craft mind runes, then when you head down back to bank, you can see the goblins. Wind strike , them, and when you run out of runes, go to the bank and load up on ess and repeat

Craft 1k Air and Mind runes then get a fire or earth staff. Use fire or earth bolt on enemies until 30+ mage. After that you decide what to do.

well do you have lots of money? if your poor this doesn't work. but if you have like... 1 mill just laying around (not likely but anyway) just get to lvl 25 buy a ton of law runes for 400g each and use varrock tele over and over and over again. easy as hell. its really expencive but its fast and easy. and once you get up higher lvl's go to fally and then camolat for more exp

yes i would agree that fire or earth blast however if your going to craft all of those runes it will take forever to gain the lvls fast buy runes from shops and cast windstrike untill you can cast curse then wear the best metal plate armour that you can and curse on ducks untill you have reached your goal, bear in mind that cursing or fire striking is the cheapest however not always the fastest way to gain mage xp

Air staff and 1k Minds. Cast on anything you want, i suggest Scorpions as cover, or men and woman.

 

 

 

When you hit 20 start to use all three weakens, then attack. Just keep training.
