well, ive noticed a lot of people are just running into making a house, spending millions on its design, then realising that all they have made is a horible eyesore and just have to take it down again. i know from experience how horrible it is to have to rip down 100,000gp worth of furniture to prevent a catastrophe.

 

 

 

i took it a step further. one night, when i crawled into bed, hardly tired and bored as hell; i grabbed my maths graph sheets and planned my house! i love my design, and cant wait to pull my cr** shack down and start anew. i believe that everyone should make an attempt at planning their house. grab your nearest sheet of paper and sketch down your ideall home so you will not have to worry about it later. if your feeling generous, please, scan or draw your house on to your comp and donate it to other constructors, having a hard days work. place your homes here, give them a signature name, level to be attempted, amount of rooms and other usefull information. this way, all runescapers can find their ideall home from your blueprint.

 

 

 

please, do not copy any of the following precisely. noone ever got anywhere by just copying everything they see, follow a blueprint, but add your own touch to make it unique!

With all the map layout work for games that I've done. I didn't really make any mistakes while building the house with no plans pre-drawn.

 

 

 

My house only cost around 2.7mil'ish, and people sometimes think it's worth a lot more with how well it is put together. :P

No need to draw it, just do what i did and make it in text. You just have to know how many doors each room can have...

someone needs to suggest that they put in a option that u can see how room is layed out in advance with warnings to wat it will mean, and then accept option to buy. i mean like trying to line up throne room and pit below for example

this is exactly my idea too. I'm going to wait until I get to about 60 construction, then rebuild. The thing that is most important to me is being able to have the portal chamber and altar next to the garden portal, so that barrows runs will be tele-to-house, first room altar, next room tele-to-canafis. I dont want to have to run a mile through my house to get to to top floor to recharge my prayer, just to run all the way back to get a the portal chamber.
