I have tried both melee and magic Attack 66 Strength 63 Magic 71 Ok, these stats aren't exactly high, but they aren't low either. So I was wondering, whats the lowest that anyone has killed that horrendous thing with? PS: I'll just hijack my own thread to ask this :) Are the costs per item for the miscellanian object gathering the same without having done royal trouble as with having done royal trouble? And if you understood that question, you may have a metaphorical cookie. I have to get practically naked when I'm cooking bacon.I may be immature, but that made me laugh! deangut Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 No idea on stats.. Just use melee. Use prayer: Mellee protect, bring 1 or 2 prayer pots. Dlong,scimi or whip. Bring a supper attack and strength (or reg) bring 1 antipoison and you should be fine. Costs: The same.. Evrae Posted June 6, 2006 Author Share Posted June 6, 2006 Thats what I tried! my attack comes to 79 with a super attack potion, I upped my strength with a standard strength pot, and even put +15% attack prayer on. Still 0's all the way :( Perhaps its the D Battle Axe at fault - this could be an excuse to buy that D Scimi. Thanks for the Item gathering info - cheap coal here I come! Dharoks legs top x 2 and helm. (Even though I feel like an idiot) This gets rid of the feeling of hoplessness at needing to get umpt more attack levels. Its only 2 more slayer levels I need, so its not too bad. deangut Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 also make sure you have done everythingon quest.. Might be if you have not done everything on quest you can't hit the snake.. Talk to the advisor to see if he says anything you need to do Make sure you got all pages of the book. I think range and melee are equally easy. I had exactly 40 slayer at the time I did the quest and killed it with melee(my stats are lower than yours) I have 60 in all melee, 52 or 53 mage, 57 range, 45 prayer, use a warrior helmet, a guthix book that is missing 2 pages, rune plate and legs, a glory, a fremmy cloak, row(never leave home without it) boots of lightness, dmace, dlong, and like 15 lobsters, and I killed him in like 2 minutes after I used up all my specs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
