Right, I'm not much of a quester but I really fancy those gold gauntlets.

 

 

 

Question is: given my stats is it worth having a go or do I need to train more?

 

 

 

Also: what is a good strategy? The guide says safe spots but I seem to remember reading that it had been removed? Should I pot, and if so what? Would I be better using armour as defence or prayer with pray pots?

I would suggest protect from melee. It will be easy for you. I did it at 74 combat and had no trouble. Just remember to hit him with the spells. They HAVE to do damage. You can pot up if you want but 4 dds specials hould get him pretty low health.

Its actually really easy for a lvl 170,just protect from melee and fire the blast spells at it

Don't worry, it has weak defence against blast. You can kill him in no time. After you've done wind blast, water blast, fire blast and earth blast on him he's dead and will drop the last crest.

 

 

 

If you're afraid of PKers go to the least crowded world you will find.

 

 

 

Unfortuntely most often members worlds are more crowded than free player's world the least crowded could have 500 so be careful.

You'll have no problem mate, take pray pots and protect from melee, i found so easy with those blast spells i would've been disappointed normally but found myself strangely pleased as to how easy he actually was :lol:

You should NEVER log out in the wilderness. (unless you're switching worlds)

 

 

 

I mean wouldn't it be terrible if you would log in and get owned by someone in full dharok's level 125 with low HP?

Just watch out for pk'ers. And bring an anti. You will own. :D

it might save u some prayer pots to know that there is a very easy safespot... just run behind the stalagmites

Oh, no sorry. Clarification: I was almost up to the demon. I logged in Varrock. THanks for the warning though, I am prone to acts of stupidity on occasion, just not this occasion :)

U dont need prayer pots. take an antiposion, good drag wep, mage robes, 3 of each spell and extra 10 fire blasts, hide at the back of his lair. kill any posion spiders attacking you, then click cast air, earth water blast and autocast fire blast to finish him. i did on my 1 def n prayer pure EASY :lol:

 

(also, dosnt matter if u log out in wildy, just make sure u dont lag when u reload again)
