June 8, 200620 yr This may seem like a stupid question to some so please dont flame me. Big Bass......just how long does it take to get 1??????? I'm lvl 42 construction, lvl 86 fishing and at the fishing guild using a big net, but after 6 hours total (not continuos) still no sign of a bleeping bass. Although i have a heck of a lot of seaweed to make glass now :) Does anyone have an idea of how long it could take?, maybe let me know how long it took them ? Thanks, y'all :D first drag drop (skirt) 21/08/06, second (spear) 29/09/07

June 8, 200620 yr It's all random. I spent about 4 hours total and finally got a basilisk head. But after a littel over 1k swordfish and tuna each, no sign of a big swordfish yet. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]

June 9, 200620 yr What the thing-in-the-study ball? I don't think it says so. I think he typed that on random.
June 9, 200620 yr It is random. But I can still make an example. In real life, if you are fishing for salmon, it takes you long time to get one. But big salmons are even rarer. So catching a big salmon would be great. This is just an example, so I think in RuneScape, big bass would be rare. But you shouldn't drop low-level fishes you get. I always cook and bank these. I don't use them to fight high level monsters, but in case of emerengy (for example your HP is low and you're near dead) you can use these to heal you without wasting any lobsters or sharks you have in bank. So low level fishes can be helpful. Well, good luck. This isn't meant to be easy, Jagex makes things hard for one reason. If they make everything easy, then people would get bored in no time since they have nothing to aim for. They already got everything. Unfortuntely it's untradable, so I wish you best of luck. It's random, fishing level has nothing to do with the big one. Only with the rest.
June 9, 200620 yr Yeah. It's just like any other special find. Totally random and annoying when you see other people get it after a few seconds of not even trying. By the way, you should know that "wherefore art thou Big Bass" means "why are you Big Bass." When Juliet says "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo," she's asking "Why are you Romeo?" This is because she has fallen in love with him. But because they are both from families that are currently at odds with one another, she can Romeo can never be together.

This is what happens: "JULIET O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet. ROMEO [Aside] Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this? JULIET 'Tis but thy name that is my enemy; Thou art thyself, though not a Montague. What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot, Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part Belonging to a man. O, be some other name! What's in a name? that which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet; So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd, Retain that dear perfection which he owes Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name, And for that name which is no part of thee Take all myself. ROMEO I take thee at thy word: Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized; Henceforth I never will be Romeo." As you see, she is talking about his name and not his location. Nor does he say "I am here." Even he talks about how he'd change his name. AND, from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romeo_and_Juliet: Act II Emboldened, Romeo risks his life by remaining on the Capulet estate after the party breaks up, to catch another glimpse of Juliet at her room, and in the famous balcony scene, the two eloquently declare their love for each other. This scene contains arguably the most famous line of Romeo and Juliet, "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?" spoken by Juliet to the darkness (wherefore here means why âââ‰â¬Å Juliet is lamenting that Romeo is a Montague, and so her enemy).

June 9, 200620 yr i made another topic about the big bass. Its the hardest to get becasue there are soo many things you can catch w the big net as opposed to spearfishing. I got mine after about 8 hours. I got my abby head after 3 days. You'll feel good after you get it, especially if you earn it. Guys, you have been very helpful with the advice for the Bass and also for my misuse of olde englyshe, i never thought the thread would actually get this long (12 posts, lol) 7 hours and counting, but i feel invigorated with fresh belief that i will get it and will have earned the right to. Peace to you all  first drag drop (skirt) 21/08/06, second (spear) 29/09/07
