June 12, 200620 yr I tried to fire bolt it, but I hardly ever hit, go figure, the dragon hide still on the dragon is really good against magic. But I guess it is possible from what was said earlier. I think you can do it either melee or magic, but you might need two loads of lobs (once your out of lobs, just tele to falador and then go back to with a load of lobs and kill Elvarg). Goals: 80/80 Range, 75/90 Strength, 77/85 Attack, 64/76 Fishing and crafting 31k natures (o.O)
June 13, 200620 yr Don't train any more defence as the quest will take you to 40+ already With luck, full lobbies should do, though I'd get a strength pot made and take that, and a better shield to use on the approach (be sure to switch to anti-dragon!). From 38 attack though, I'd drive hard for 40 and use a rune weapon, not sure if the fast scimmy or the B-Axe power works bgest (2 hander is right out, of course!). Amulet - craft a defence if you have nothing better, but a strength or power would be more effective. Measure yourself against the Karamja Lessers, since one stage pits you against one after some other opponents. I'd say you need to be able to take at least 3 down on the same load of food before facing the dragon.

June 13, 200620 yr I think you'll be hard put to do it. But grab yourself your best gear (plus anti-dragon shield), a good weapon (I advise you train to rune first) and lots of lobs and you'll manage it I think. Mage against Elvarg isn't too effective. Stick with melee and and you should be ok :lol:
June 14, 200620 yr Author Well geuss what! I killed him, with just easy fire strikes! I jumped from combat lvl 43 to 47! :lol: :D :lol: The dragon wasn't even attacking me! Only 1 time i had to use only 1 lobby!
