Barrows Armour Advice

When i become a p2p agan,im going to buy a whip,and some barrows.On a 20mil budget,i need advice what barrows to get (subtract whip 17mil budget).I want Dharoks for sure,do you think i shuld get full torags,full verracs,or both along with the whip and Dharoks?(i will need about 1-2mil to repair barrows when they get damaged) :wink:

Verac's for sure. Torag's Set stats can be obtained by just swapping out dharok's helm for verac's. And the set is very useful for dueling and fight pits (NOT caves, thats the 702 one, i am talking about free for all minigame)

look at your sig, that guy is wearing a dharok's set except the helm is Verac's. Torag's set is overpriced for its stats.

 

 

 

Just get Full Dharok, whip, and full Verac's and you will be fine.

 

 

 

EDIT: for that reason, do not go near torag's set, just forget it.

Are you going to use Torag's Full set effect, or just purely for its defence value?

its actually not a Mud Staff, it's slayer Staff.

 

 

 

If you are just using Torag's set just for the defence, then i assume that you are not going to use the full set, and hence the torag's armor set will serve the same purpose as wearing dharok's armor, legs and verac's helm, which has almost the same stats (the only difference is ranged defence).

well,ty,but id only want to wear a set with 1 type of barrows,i dont like the way they look,and u dont get the effect,and a slayer staff only has 1 branch from the main root thing in the center,but a mud staff has multiple 1s,so it is a mud

Yeah, but any barrow set effect only kicks in when you wear the entire set, including the weapons. Torag's Hammers is pretty bad for melee weapons, so you are better off NOT wearing the set. But if you are not wearing the set, mixing saves money and bank space.

 

 

 

Also Mud staff is not straight, it is curled at the top and the staff is a lot thicker than this one. and Slayer Staff does have branches.

It is a Slayer staff, and Chenw, you might want to go back to Runeweb and update your sig since it doesn't have construction on it :P

 

 

 

I would get Veracs and Dharoks, Dharoks with whip & Dragon Square\Obsidian shield is just as good as Torags..Veracs is also very good for a number things..

Not exactly as good, the Helm is inferior by 10 defence values for all but magic. It is slight inferiority though, and can be compensated by wearing verac's helm instead of dharok's helm.

 

 

 

Torag's set is for those who cant afford anything else.

Get Guthan's and Torag's. Guthan's for its healing effect, letting you train without need of food or banking, and Torag's for the awesome defense and its cool looks.
