Add a background, and fill the rest with a sky. Maybe a forest or walled town, some ships warring on the seas. Hm, what I think would make this really original is to make it look like an old RS D-day landing. Rangers for machine guns, and melee dudes as the allies, mages for the artillery. Be creative.
