honeo
*By free, I mean that I didn't spend cash. It still took me time. Posted an ad in the Events Forum "Cosmic Crafting Company World 60", made a detailed write-up of my intentions (Quick find code: 42-43-27-23826158). I even made a form posting that I could copy and paste anytime in the Runes Forum. There were even a few crafters interested. I hired runners at 7k a run plus Essence. Some took 40 cosmics and essence. Some just wanted me to double craft their own essence. Either way, over a week I got about 120 names on my friends list that were runners. So last week I was 68 Runecrafting, now I'm 75 runecrafting. I crafted about 75k pure essence to do it. Now the free part: Sold all my cosmics for about 200 each. It only cost me 180 each cosmic to make (With 50 cosmics per run, 140 gp went to the runner, 40 gp to the essence per cosmic). Ok, so actually I made a 3 million gp profit but that's better than the 6 million gp I would have lost using runners on the law world. I was tempted to do this till 91 RC. However, seeing that it'll take 600k more essence, I think I'll just hold off. There's a reason only 400 people have 91+ rc - It's mind numbingly dull even with runners. Anyway, if you can get 10-15 runners active at any one time, you'll be getting 40k to 60k xp every hour (and 10k cosmics made every hour). I may actually try that... How long did you take you to get a few runners coming to run? Training my pure!
NukeMarine
Runners were easy to get. Apparently paying cash is a big incentive to runners, as they don't have to resell anything. As said, since there's going to be enchanted bolts this may be a good time to build up a nice supply of cosmics.
