Because they happened a few years ago: a mistake JAGeX made.

as of 2005 i think but correct me if im wrong holiday items(rares) became untradeable because jagex saw prices of rares skyrocketing and the point of the holiday items(rares) was to have fun not profit so they discontinued making them tradeable

 

 

 

however i wish they would have waited till i got a rare to make them untradeable :wall: lol dont yell at me for being selfish or anything it was a joke

I dont think it was a mistake. I wish they would still let the holiday items be tradeable. why is it bad? it gives us all something to work up for. I have a santa hat, and my only goal in RS so far is to get a party hat. I think they were a good thing, not a mistake.

it was good they made those tradeable but think about it..if new rares came out every holiday season would they really be "rare"????

Those things u listed are not tradeable and will never be. That also means they dont have a price
