Barrows Armour and Best way to train str and att?

Featured Replies

Ok, this is my 1st part of the question. Wats the deal with barrows armour? Im not a new member, but theres sooo much stuff with it, like firstly theres a bunch of different sets which all do different things. It would be very helpful if someone could post pics of each different set, with its stats and bonus things.

Ok secondly, Im wondering the best place and method to train att and str. I can wield drag long, dds, scimmy and b-axe, and i need to know the best combination of weapons and specials to get the best results. I already have a trianing place to do it at, just need to know the best "way" to do it.

Many thanks :)

Always train with the d scimmy. You can do D Baxe specials or whatever, but train with the scimmy.

Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.

Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.

And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.

[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.

Use the D scimi with either D Baxe special or Dds special. Dds special because it's fast and pretty durned accurate. D Baxe special because it boosts Str for higher hits.

Wow thanks for the super quick replies. That link answers my barrows questions perfect :)

Thanks for the training advice as well, but the thing about the d baxe spec is that it lowers att, which is not what im after when Im trying to train Attack. Ive heard people say D long is better than D Scimmy when trianing attack, but not when training strenthg. Is this true?

Well... D scimi is faster. But... the D Long can hit higher, especially with the special. So idk about that one.

nah. d long has less speed than d scim. so stick with d scim unless you can afford a whip which would be very good.

d scims and whips are very gd training weaps.

Get 70 attack and get a whip. Use the b axe spec attack at the start of the round (Pest Control.) And change to whip/d scimmi. I see tons of high levels doing that

yes BUT im trying to train ATT, not STR. im just sticking with my d long and dds combo, only about 250 more experiments to kill until 70 att, then im merchanting for a whip. \'

just remember that whips don't train strength, so dont sell all your weapons once you reach 70

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

You should stick with scimmy and dds combos in my opinion and train at pest control :) The experience is so much better.

The purpose for using the d baxe special is to increase your max hit which in turn should provide faster training of whatever skill be it atk, str, or def.
