June 20, 200620 yr u go to the slayer masters (such as in edgeville dungeon) and ask them for a task. They then tell u to kill a certain number of a type monster (not just slayer monsters). For each monster u kill which he assigned, u will get the number of hits exp it has in slayer exp. think this makes sense, im sure theres a skills guide on the actual tip.it which would explain a lot better though :wall:

He just started out slayer and yet the slayer master gave him a crawling hands task (Slayer level 5 required) and he is commenting on how that is a poor start to it. I'd send a bug report to Jagex. Although you could try and see if you could kill the crawling hands, they don't require any equipment to kill so.... try it out. If you can't kill them THEN send in a bug report to Jagex.

June 20, 200620 yr I think that he thinks that for slayer, the only thing to kill are slayer monsters. So the answer is: you can also get i.e. birds, then you can even kill chickens I think =P~
June 20, 200620 yr n slayer, you get an assignment from a slayer master to kill a specific number of a certain type of monster. These assignments can vary from 10 spiders to 200 iron dragons and depend a lot on which slayer master you choose. To get started on the skill, go to a slayer master and ask for an assignment. He/she will tell you what monster to kill. The slayer experience for each kill equals the monster's hit points. If you kill it with two people, the one that does the most damage will get half the exp and the one that inflicts the final blow the other half. If you do both, or attack it on your own, you get the full exp. Also, there are various monsters that can only be assigned and killed at certain slayer levels. You don't just kill slayer monsters.
