I hate to say it, but I got WoW =\

 

 

 

Turns out I need a cerdit card for the free month *Sigh* and right now I don't have access to one, however with the guest pass in my box it looks like I just need a credit card to verify and not charge (I have two of those gift cards that are credit cards with like... a dollar on each). The only reason I'm posting here is to ask if I'd need to get another copy of WoW if I did the guest pass because it says in fine print 'First ten (10) days free; retail version of game required thereafter'. If I go ahead and make an account using the guest pass and get access to a real credit card (or prepaid card) and make the 'full' account, would I have to get a new game with a different Auth key? >.o

I was wondering all that stuff too, but why not just go buy one of the game cards. Thats how i activiated my game. Costs about 29$, and youll get three months automaticly (Free month+ game card).

 

Edit: Dont use the guess pass, you dont need that unless you giving it to a friend. Just use your CD-key to make an account, then when it prompts for the payment plan, chose to add a prepaid card.

If you dont have a credit card... looks like your not playing for a few more weeks. BTW the 10 day pass, dont use it cause after the 10 days, the account is only activated if you buy another WoW... and you dotn want to do that.

 

 

 

So only choice is the full version, wich i dont really know how to work the credit card thing.

I didn't need a credit card to pay for the 6 months or so that I played it, I used a switch card. Is that different in america?

 

 

 

You will not be able to use the limited guest pass account with your disc once you have got the money together.

yeah use the prepaid card, get a 2 month card, and you get the first month free. but seriously can we make one WoW topic and sticky it? were averaging like one a day.
