June 22, 200620 yr I tryied to use both and they have same speed and almost same ranged bonus but i see some diference in the damage. Although the max hit is the same i usualy get higher hits with knifes then i've with the darts. Is it just me or is it to everyone ?
June 22, 200620 yr Author Rune Darts have +15 ranged bonus and Rune Knifes have +25. I don't think it's the case.
June 22, 200620 yr I always call darts the archery versions of a dagger since they stinks. Anyway, I'd like to suggest knife, they're better. But Javelin is the best throwing weapon though.
June 22, 200620 yr darts are actually better as u get 10 per bar opposed to 5 knives they are faster then knives with 0-1 less damage only draw back is that they require feathers. Slayer FTW!!! June 22, 200620 yr I dunno, I think I prefer knifes. They don't require any other materials other than the bar and they're stronger than darts too. EDIT: I was just testing you guys dang! Of course I knew that knives could be poisoned... duhh! O:) 200.
June 22, 200620 yr I'd always go for knives but I don't know why. I just finished throwing 10k of iron knives. The xp I got from them was about 65 per knife and got me to 67 range. Knives are easy to make whereas darts require feathers and the Tourist Trap quest which I have just done and is, without doubt, the least enjoyable, and most irritating quest I have ever encountered. Furthermore, if you are using your knives/darts to train you don't want to use poison anyway as it lowers the xp you get per monster. df

It is real, guys, if you think picture isn't the right evidence, use a poison potion on a metal knife and see what happens. :shame: Only thrown weapon that can't be poisoned are thrownaxes. (NOTE: Blunt arrows are NOT thrown weapons)
