I had taken a long break as well and for some reason during that break Jagex decided to get rid of the Jagex Account Guardian that was keeping my account secure. Sure enough, I try logging in and find out I was banned. I submitted a ban appeal and after about two weeks I got my account back. Most of my more expensive items were gone, including my Santa Hat. I was hoping my bank would at least be secure but I guess the hacker was able to delete the bank pin after a week. Really sucks because they got rid of the one thing that was safeguarding my account (before they implemented the authenticator). So now I'm about 1B in the hole, and doesn't sound like they do rollbacks or anything like that. Thanks Jagex.

:/ died within like 10 seconds of fighting Jad just now, didn't even hit him wtf. Last time I tried for a fire cape was 5 years ago and now I remember why... I switched to the correct prayers but he still hit me, maybe switching in time is the problem? Also, I just realized I miscounted and took too many super restores. I had 10 left over and had 0 brews when I got to Jad. Anyways, this is an awesome guide, one of the best I've read so far. Goes into great detail and describes each strategy. The only thing is that some of the images don't show up. Thanks so much!

Is dragon defender worth getting? Or should I get a dfs instead?

That's a good tip, I'm sure many people knew about it already but this was still helpful for the people that didn't know. But for thieving and agility, I'm not sure if you would want to use the cornucopia, because you would end up losing more damage because the amount of damage you lose correlates to the amount of health you have. I use this method for when I need to replenish my health quickly at the bank and it works really well +1

Thank you for all your help everyone! I bought a santa for 98m yesterday. I think I may hold onto it long term or maybe not sell it at all. I'll just be aware of the market and try to apply good judgment from there. I just wanted to get a rare because a couple years back I bought a santa for around 21m I believe it was. And a pumpkin for I think 8m. I was stupid and wanted cash immediately so I sold my santa for 13m, losing money. And I sold the pumpkin back for maybe 16m? But anyways, thanks again everyone I'll keep all your advice in mind.

I'm hoping to buy one then sell it around Christmastime for a profit, then i'm hoping it drops back down where I'll buy it again. I don't know if that'll happen, but that's what I'm going for atm, what do you guys think?

Hi guys, I'm debating whether I should get a rare or not... I'm looking for something under 100m so like green/blue hween mask, santa, etc. I don't know if I'll lose any money if I buy a rare and it's a pretty big purchase for me so I just wanted to get everyone's opinions preferably someone who understands the market and has dabbled in the rares market. Theres no rule that says members = addiction. Even if your a casual player, its still worth getting members. This is true. For like 4 months earlier this year, I played very little but was still paying for members because the little time that I did play, I got the most out of it.

I suggest doing some quests just because they're fun. In a week you won't really be able to do much, maybe get a few levels here and there. If it's just a week trial, you should have fun with it, see if you like it and possibly change your mind about getting members later on.

Haha it was like, a list of all f2p items that you should put into your bank.. anything and everything that you would possibly need in f2p, and its not like you're throwing away your members stuff, you're adding like multiples of all f2p stuff so you could still keep all your members stuff and still have everything you need for f2p.

I think its around 51k xp per hammer not sure. But if so, then you'd need like 9 hammers.
