Yeah thats true, cutting is not even a feasible option for me. I guess I will be ok with losing a few mil. Should I do yew longs or magics? I think I did yew longs before I quit.. Not sure if its the best way though. Thanks!

Hi, the first thing you need to know is I am useless at merching and for some strange reason I tried doing it yesterday. I was fishing at the guild trying to get a BIG fish for construction. Some people were talking about the new Bounty Hunter PVP update getting me excited about the rise in sharks that would shortly occur. I went to the GE bought myself 10k cooked sharks at min price for 955, which I thought sort of odd. Sold my 1k raw for 1008 each. Then today I check and see that the price of cooked sharks is 948 and raw is 1013. So I need my fellow tipiters' opinion on what to do. Sell now for a slight loss or wait and hope it starts to rise, which can also put me in danger of losing a lot more. What do you guys think? Thank you very much. PS I'm never merching again.

Hi, I want to get 99 fletching but I don't know what would be the best way, without losing money. Right now I'm thinking about making yew longs, buying BS and yew logs, then selling the strung yew long back. However, this will only work if yew longs sell in the G.E. Another method i'm thinking about is cutting magic or yew logs and buying BS, then alching with bought nature runes. Which would be the best way, and if you have better methods, please let me know! Thanks :)

OHH that was it. I got owned cause I forgot nosepeg, tried ranging but failed, so banked sup restored to normal then bought iron knives. Haha, it all makes sense now. Well, I just got a 160 gargoyle task so i'm going to range them with rune cbow and broad bolts, and won't forget my nosepeg this time. Thank you so much. EDIT: There we go, those familiar 25's.

Yeah, I guess I was just getting really unlucky. And my range is actually 90 so I don't think low range was the problem. Well I guess I will stick with broad bolts then. Thank you for confirming it. :)

But gargoyles are exclusively slayer monsters. My theory is that they don't work on slayer monsters, not monsters that are assigned as tasks. Slayer monsters. I used 50 broad bolts on gargoyles and hit 0 every time. I'm using iron knives right now and am almost done with the task. Yeah, I will get some adamant bolts. Iron knives are too weak for my liking.

No, they don't work at all. I'm guessing its because broad bolts are meant for kurasks and turoths which is why it doesn't work against other slayer monsters.

I used to use crystal bow a lot but after I quit members, for some reason it doesn't remember how many times I've charged it and I have to start all over. So if there is any alternative I am trying to stay away from it.

I currently use rune cbow with broad bolts but I found out these don't work against some of my slayer tasks like gargoyles. So which would be the best alternative to use against other slayer monsters, putting power, speed, and cost into consideration? Right now I'm thinking.. Iron knives or steel knives Mage short with addy or mith arrows Some other kind of bolts Thank you for your help.

I would also like to add something. Maybe you could include some things to do while hunting. You could possibly bring things to alch or, my personal favorite, bring a hatchet and tinderbox and chop trees and burn. There are many different types of trees near several of the hunting locations. There are eucalyptus trees near tropical tropical wagtails, yews near ferrets, etc. Its always good to get some extra xp and since you're not doing anything while waiting, you might as well do something productive. EDIT: Only during the lower levels when it takes a while to catch anything. Thank you so much! Thanks to this guide I *am about* to get 63 hunter in like 4 days. Hm.. I don't exactly remember how much it cost for me to get 99 cooking.. All I know is I burnt at least 1k sharks. I think with the cost of burning other fish and the cost of buying them raw, 5m sounds about right.
