I finally decide to learn to make avvys...here it is

 

 

 

 

 

 

(i know it's over size for the forum, it's made for my blog site.)

 

 

 

The border is white, so you might not be able to see them.

 

 

 

First time learning how to use brushes, how to download fonts..etc.. :P What do you guys think about it?

The background looks good but the font does not seem to fit with it.

 

Perhaps try another font or try fading it some so it blends a bit better with the bg or try a different color or all of the above :P

It looks good, you should try to put another black brush over it, so it

 

kinda matches the black text.

 

 

 

And maybe the white text from ''None'' to ''Smooth'' :wink:

I'll try to fix my avvy a bit..

 

 

 

I use Gimp for the bg and then Paint for the border and text...

 

 

 

Edit- Does anyone knows how to download or put fonts to Gimp?
