Well, heres the story. After compleating my 100th barrows run, and still never getting an barrows item (anything other then runes, bolts and coins,) I decided to create my very own barrows log about what im doing.

 

I know im not as good as the Leesters, or any of the other barrows 'greats' out there, but we all got to start some where. (trying to flame proof my post aswell.)

 

 

 

Also, one thing you should know. Im a level 93 who uses what I have. Aka, NO teasing the skirt. (if I could afford torags, I would.)

 

- Stats are at the bottem of the Post.

 

 

 

- The only thing I might have exagerated in this is the food usage on guthan, its on average around a shark. (hes hit 3 - 22s in a row before, but mostly he hits 0-5s.)

 

 

 

- This is my first time actualy writing somthing other then a reply, and using pictures. So any advice is welcome.

 

 

 

- For anyone who asks, I use 1 - 4 does prayer pot. and around 2 sharks and 4 swordies. I get my kill count around 15-25, and I kill all the twins that I get. (hardest was 2 guthans at the same time. pic at the bottom)

I normaly do karil third, and guthan fourth. Karil was in the tunnel when I made this. (Kickin myself that I didn't take a pic of him in tunnel.)

This guy is always easy. Never ever used prayer, and he rarely hit 23s on me. (in this run, he hit a 2.)

And that just about does it. As you can see, it wasn't anything special.

 

 

 

From all of this I have gained around 400 bolt racks, 6k chaos runes and 1300 bloods; not to mention all the xp.

 

 

 

Also one more point I should mention is that I started with 2k death runes and 8k mind runes, and I curantly have 900 death runes and around 4k minds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before I forget, here is the pic of twin guthans attacking me at the same time. How it happend is that I opend the door he was in, saw him then I ran out. When I went back in, another one poped up in the same place and started attacking me as well. (but you probibly could have figured that out.)

 

 

 

-I tried to take the pick with them both hitting at the same time; but alas, they are slow attackers and I was dieing

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today I log in and get a HYT from a new friend. After some chating he decided to come to a barrow run with me. It was ur average easy run, use getting torage and guthan in the tunnels. After getting 26 kill count and opening the chest I almost had a heart attack.

 

 

 

What I saw was utterly amaizing

 

 

 

 

 

 

The loot was

 

- 82 death runes.

 

- 40 bloods

 

-coins

 

- AHRIMS HOOD WOOT!!!!!

 

 

 

Yup, my 102nd barrow run and I get my first Item. So no longer am I a Barrow Item-less nublet posting storys about my bad luck.

Aww, too bad u aint gotten a barrows item yet, i got one on my 4th run. I like doing barrows but stopped for a while to train my skillz up a bitm i hope ur next 100 runs will be full of barrows items and ull make millions.

In the post you say you never use prayer on ahrim, but in the picture right above it you can clearly see that you have the protect from magic prayer on. :)

I've gone 200 and i was getting a kc of 25 each time!

Wow man i cant belive it took over 100 runs on my second run i got ahrims hood. And i have only done like 30 or less runs since and i have gotten flail and dh legs.
