June 29, 200620 yr I have to kill iron dragons for slayer assignment. What's the fastest way to kill these things? The info in the bestiary says melee'ing with anti dragonfire pots and anti dragon shield is the best, or maging them from a distance. But from what I've seen, there are no hiding spots there (or am I wrong?) I'd like to stay there as long as possible without having to go back for food/pots and stuff. So maging would seem the best, IF there are hiding spots, which I doubt. Any advice? Twitter ||| Google+ ||| Facebook ||| LinkedIn ||| My very interesting weblog about science

I don't know about "fastest" but fire bolting them while wearing chaos gauntlets, anti-dragonfire shield, and using anti-fire potions seems to be the best way. June 29, 200620 yr You dont need safe spots, as soon as you start to attack one dragon the other dragons do not touch you, the one you are fighting will not approach but attack you with fire balls so protect from melee is not required. You can stand till your hearts content just playing tennis with fire balls. Bofore you go into their cave put auto retaliate to off, if you dont and you run out of runes you will run up to them and get squished melee style. If you take anti fire pots you can stay as long as they or your runes last, if you dont take anti fire pots your stay will be a short and very hot one. You need an anti fire shield even with anti pots. Take a couple of lobbies in case you get bit by a dog on the way in.
