The main beam is too thick, and the curvy beams are too... symettrical and repetitive...

 

 

 

The bottom isn't that good either.. Smudged dots... But out sideways? Surely it should be from he centre of the impact? =\

 

 

 

Sorry for pointing all the negative parts out, but I don't like it much.

The background could've used a bit more variation, it seemed too boring to me. As for the beam, follow Gold's advice. Other than this, it looks like really nice work. You'll fit right in here at the Gallery.

The beam seems too 'samey'...

 

 

 

And the Circle of light spreading on the planet is too circular, and doesnt match the planet. It shouldn't be perfectly circular, but should be stretched out to both the left and right...
