No Spamming 2. No Flameing 3. All forum rules apply Ok to start off I would like to explain what pure essence is used for and the good and bad points of it is. Pure rune essence was released to stop autoers in the Free to play worlds stop autoing or at least try to lower the price of normal essence so it was not very useful to risk a banning just to mine something that was not worth a lot. Good points: It stopped autoers for a week or 2. It got set aside for nats, laws, chaos, cosmic and combo runes It gained a price tag of 100 each so people that had loads converted from normal (talking about 50k to 1000k) could gain millions. Bad points: The autoers went over to woodcutting after 2 weeks The amount or essence being put in to the game dropped Thou the floor, if you notice there is rarely any one selling normal essence any more and the pure ess is scares The price went up, I know I put it in the good points but think of the companies like fast free laws world 66 and 99. They give the same amount of exp as normal essence Ok now the good points and bad points are out of the way time for the suggestion PLEASE LOOK AT POST 2 The suggestion / suggestions Well the first suggestion I throat off was boosting the exp up, here is how I think it should work: Mining Exp: 5 exp per normal rune 20 exp per pure essence rune Crafting exp Normal (throat I would show this first) Airs 5 exp per one made. Minds 5.5 exp per one made Water 6 exp per one made Earth 6.5 exp per one made Fire 7 exp per one made Body 7.5 exp per one made Cosmic 8 exp per one made Chaos 8.5 exp per one made Natures 9 exp per one made Laws 9.5 exp per one made Deaths 10 exp per one made Pure essence, what I think exp should be: Airs 20 exp per one made Minds 22 exp per one made Water 24 exp per one made Earth 26 exp per one made Fire 28 exp per one made Body 30 exp per one made Cosmic 32 exp per one made Chaos 34 exp per one made Nature 36 exp per one made Law 38 exp per one made Death 40 exp per one made This way the exp rate is worthwhile Second suggestion Put pure essence in to the hands of non-members again but with a twist, they (and us) would have to do a quest to mine pure essence. Quest name: essence bandits Quest level (length): Hard Requirements: Quests that have to have been done: Rune Mysteries Pirate's Treasure Prince Ali Rescue Quest points needed: 25 Levels needed: 30 mining, 20 Rune crafting, 41 magic, 700 to 800 total level (you decide) Items needed: One of every talisman, enough runes to do wind blast 40 plus times, food and 150 normal essence Monsters to defeat: a level 45, 57 and 64 (in a row) Ways to defeat them: magic only Story: The Pirate's have the Port Sarim pub have decided that wanted to go looting around the wizards towed (looting as in go smash everything up and take things) and the wizards need you To help them out. They decide to train you to try and stop the Pirate's from returning to there home and send you off to get the items, they decide to look in to the mystery̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s of the power of the rune essence and talismans. You take the talismans to the wizards And they study them and then send you on a mission for 150 rune essence, once you get them the 100 essence they send you out to get a inventory full of each elemental rune there is (inventory full meaning 28 of each rune) once they receive them they tell the story of pure essence (showing cut̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s of the essence mines) then going on to how the three gods of runescape used these powerful rune essence rocks in the great war of runescape years ago. From here on I will take suggestions and story endings on this as I have rune out of throats. Third suggestion Let the non-members just have it but put a limit on how many they can mine a week and make it so that they cant use them for rune crafting, seems a bit unfair to me this one but it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a suggestion now a must have. wild_goat_14 Posted June 30, 2006 Share Posted June 30, 2006 ok.......................1 question. if free player couldnt use them for rcing there would b no other point then to sell to members which is exactly what the autoers were doing.in other words the autoers would just powermine to 30 then mine loads of pure ess and make three times as much as they did before.so you say preventing autoing was a good point then y did u make it so itd b even more profitable than it was in the first place?i think they should keep it as is because its almost impossible to make a system where law running can make a comeback and autoing can stop. p.s.i absolutely hate autoers.they r cheating scum that should b banned forever from the world because cheating is wrong but cheating and prospering because of it is just sickening.so all autoer shall die! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. nacht Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 i feel ya solid.... everyone jus criticises but offers no suggestions. the pure ess thing is almost a desparate thrust by Jagex (god bless them) in their boundless war against scamming, autoing, cheating scum that deserve to perish in hell with all pedophiles and terrorist sympathizers... But as far as the ess thing goes i think the extra exp is a bit extreme (not so much increase). but i do believe the f2p intro and the quest req might help. Perhaps it could require: 20 rc, 30 mining, and 700 total lvl, but not the mage, as not everyone lvls that. but the high total would weed out autoer acc's.
