TheAncient
I had some questions regarding Jagex's rules for RS. Obvioulsy I should have contacted Jagex on these issues, but apparently Jagex doesnt answer F2P players' questions :-k And I already looked at the knowledge database. 1) Apparently "AFK" (away from keyboard) training is against the rules. Is doing something else while RSing (e.g. CS, forum browsing) considered AFK, as you're not actively playing RS? 2) Is the use of stickykeys (my regular mouse click is REALLY loud, stickykeys makes it so much softer) macroing? It just helps you click. =\ :D Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? It just helps you click. =\no i dont see how that can get you banned. the thing about macros is that they are very methodical, precise, and repetitive. if your doing the same actions at a very specific rythm for a while, you may get more randoms(in theory) and you might get reported by passers by which could lead to you being banned. just be careful. I couldn't care less if he was Andrew Gower himself, I just don't like arrogant smegheads. *in the voice of the comic book guy from the simpsons* best. quote. tefda
1)Yeah, you can be called for that, but I don't think many people are called for it. It's mostly those who leave their Keyboards for an extended period of time. Lots of people surf the forums whilst playing RS, heck I'm doing it right now and I have a spotless record! Just keep checking in and out of the game and you should be fine. 2)Yes, Jagex will crack you down for that. They do not like it when people aren't using the mouse themselves. They supposedly have software in RS to detect when things aren't happening by your own mouse. Many have fallen prey to it, so I'd suggest stick to the noisy mouse and if you must get a nice quite one, wrap it up in a cone of silence (D&D anyone?) and try to keep it quiet. Just stick with the mouse and you'll be fine.

Im not quite sure what stickykeys are though, but id imagine its something similar. As long as you are incontrol of your character its fine. 90 Combat 1900+ Total99 Crafting 99 Cooking 99 Firemaking99 Herblore 99 Fletching 98 Farming
