The recognize-a-cover game!

Yea, but if you give hints and so it's easy to narrow things down in a search on google. Just use the head. Of course it's nothing you have any controle over, but you can atleast ask people not to look things up. Or when they do look things up not to post the answer. :)

I don't know that one BTW. It might be wise to remove it so that we won't vague things with people guessing on the wrong covers. :o

I only answered to two or three covers so far, it's not like I'm answering on everything, besides I didn't knew Matts cover, didn't knew Necro's cover, didn't knew Tanya's cover etc. etc. And there are more ways to see CD covers of course.

But, let's keep the game going. I think I'd better be realistic and say I doubt that this album cover is going to get guessed. It was ARCHIVE with the album LIGHTS. Check it out, it's pretty easy to get; most record stores got it. :)

A pretty easy one now then, as he's pretty popular.

It's a part of a cover, I don't have any photoshop things or something, so I just cropped artist and album name of. There isn't anything happening in that part anyway, other than album title and artist name. :)

They sure are! Perhaps you get any wiser if you know that it stands for 'Die Anarchistische AbendUnterhaltung'? They bring a mix of classical music with eastern European folk. They've made songs with dEUS, Think of One and some other good bands. If you want to I can send you a few songs of em.

That would be great, as I can't find a place where I can order their albums. I can add you on msn if you like, you can also mail them to me if you find that more comfortable. :)

No, feel free to add me Daan :) I haven't got a lot of music here at home, but I've got a nice collection in Leuven, where I study. Tuesday I'm going back there, since I have exams in August coming :-w

Alrighty, I'll add you on msn if I get on later tonight.

For the album, as far as I know I only know that sunny face from tears for fears, and I don't think it's their greatest hits album; Tears roll down. So I'm going to pass on this one.

Oh yeah, the sublime album 40 inch from freedom or what was it called?

I'll look it up in a sec and post my draft.

edit: it's original name is 40 oz. to freedom, from Sublime

Here's mine! It's a quick sketch, but people who know this fantastic band will immediately recognize the cover:
