oreocookie987 Posted July 7, 2006 Share Posted July 7, 2006 i just tried fightin this thing and i got completely owned. i didn't know wat it was doing. does it always use magic, or switch between mage and melee? someone plz help me this one also, i have lvl 47 prayer. will 8 pray pots be enough? Do you have 8 doses or 8 whole prayer pots? What I did is stand in the corner, with protect from mage on, and range him. It took quite a while, but I can't recall how many doses I went through. If your range is decent, (mine was under 50) then 8 doses is probably enough. I'll be one of the ones to tell you to let the gnomes do all the work. But I don't know about standing in a corner. What I did was immediately run to the outer ring. I believe there are bridges on each side of the fight area. I waited on the other side for about five minutes until I was sure that the demon was low on HP. The demon uses melee when you're next to him and magic when your not. So i just ranged him from the bridge while using Protect from Magic. It only took me three hits from my whopping 43 range to finish him off. It's kind of cheap, but I did it at a fairly low level and without food or prayer pots. And if they wanted you to kill the demon yourself, they wouldn't have given you those helpful gnomes. imaerehw14 Posted July 7, 2006 Share Posted July 7, 2006 ok, well i did it without pray pots when i was level 65ish. all you have to do is have a lot of good food (sharks) and your best range equipment. like a magic short bow, rune arrows, and full dhide (the best you can wear). just use the best items you can. and praying from mage helps.
