Houses have different random event chances?

I got 4 genies, 2 cubes, and a swarm today. Furthermore, the swarm happened at the exact same time as one of the genies. I was in a player-owned house most of the day. Do random events happen more often in houses?

Random-

1. Having no specific pattern, purpose, or objective: random movements. See synonyms at chance.

2. Mathematics & Statistics. Of or relating to a type of circumstance or event that is described by a probability distribution.

3. Of or relating to an event in which all outcomes are equally likely, as in the testing of a blood sample for the presence of a substance.

Computers can't make something genuinely random. They use algorithyms (sp?) and other huge mathematic equations to determine when, in this case, a random event will appear. The chances could easily have been affected by being in a house or it could have just been a freak coincidence where the equations came to the same number at the same time.

There are 10 types of people in the world - those that understand binary and those that don't!

Yeah, for example, when your alching, your bound to get more random events than when your simply standing in one place.
It would seem so, but that's simply because you perform more actions, like alching 1k yew longs = 1k actions in little time. For example; rolling dice 1k times will get you alot more 6's then with throwing once, but the odds haven't changed

Dude never argue with an idiot. They drag you dwn to their level and then beat you with experience.

It's actually done on clicks. The more you click, the more likely you are to get a random event. Each alching spell uses 2 clicks. So when alching 1k yew longs you use 2k clicks.
