One of my friends lost his gloves and was wondering how to retrieve them again he hasn't registered here so I am posting on his behalf any help would be grateful thanks.

He should've read the quest journal first. It says (even though it's crossed out) "and would always return to Dimintheis[guy you talked to to start quest] for me to reclaim if I ever lost them."

I'm pretty sure you go back to the father in Varrock, by the tea stall thing and he'll give you back the gloves. If not, I'd try the brother whose gloves you chose.

Go to the guy north of the fancy dress shop to talk to him, and you'll get them \
