jpd2
You sir, are an idiot. :x I meant what is the best to mine coal and iron with a nearby furnace and anvil.

I'd say Falador City, if you have 10 agility. Just mine as many iron as you like and coal and use a furance in Falador City, and the anvil near Doric. The spot I recommand is the one near Dark Wizard Tower.
HatshepsutLecter
the best place that i can think of to mine iron if you are a member is yanille. there are a lot of rocks and it is close to a bank. a good place to mine coal if you cant get into the mining guild is lumby swamps. the best anvil is in varrok and the best furnace is in the ghost port (cant spell it). and iif someone posts on here and tries to help you then you should not call them an idiot. fyi, there are not really any spots where there is easy access to ores, an anvil, and a furnace. jadex has them spaced out because if they are all clumped together than the smithing skill would be entirely too easy. Frankly it's not true. Falador has everything needed close to bank. Anyway, take my advice and you'll be fine.
jpd2
Thanks for the help. And just so everyone knows, its Port Phasmatys
Hairdog
For me, the quickest way is to mine all of the iron I need from the West Ardougne mine (You can get coal there if you're under 60 mining as well), getcoal from the mining guild, and smelt them all into bars at Port Phasmatys, after which I teleport to Varrock and use the anvils just south of the Gaza Strip...errr, I mean, west bank. ~Member of Legends' Guild~
jorus2
You sir, are an idiot. :x I meant what is the best to mine coal and iron with a nearby furnace and anvil. That really wasn't nice to say, seeing as all you did to explain was say "i'm level 31". If you are talking about powermining and smithing, then the fremennik town is the best, there is a mine to the north, then a furnace and anvil in the town, then you just alch what you make. 90 Combat 1900+ Total99 Crafting 99 Cooking 99 Firemaking99 Herblore 99 Fletching 98 Farming
