Necklaces are fully made out of gold, amulets are a gold coin, sometimes with a gem, that has a woollen string on it enabling users to wear.

 

 

 

Some necklaces are enchantable, for example sapphire and emerald but most are just for show.

 

 

 

Amulets are enchantable and these are the most commonly used form of neckwear.

Neckys alch for more money than amulets

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
