Not trying to be harsh, but what you should do next is open another 300x150 blank doc in photoshop and start to BRUSH around. It seems like just colored filtering to me. Read up some tutorials.

try getting brushes and brushing rather than using tons of gradient - trust me i used to do that and brushing is so much better

Thanks for not going and downloading everyones' brush packs then whoring them out like most people although I doubt you know about that yet. Gradients can have some pretty good turnouts but you will need to play around with some filters to get the effects I think you may be aiming for. Keep trying.
