ironori
I reported a guy for password scamming right after he tried to tell everyone that Jagex blocks their passes and got this message: You can only report players who have spoken or traded recently for this offense. I don't get why I got the message since I sent the report right after this guy soke several times. Well, I don't suppose that it's much of a problem since he was gone by the next time I visited the bank. Still, do you know what's up with this message? "People are idiots. Some just like to say they reported you to see your reaction, others are just spastic losers that believe everything is reportable, and others got banned and end up reporting everyone because they are mentally disturbed"

noname713
if the guy logs off before you submit an abuse report, you'll get that message and no abuse report will be filed :( Fear the frog reaper. Hypercubes make the frog reaper happy ^_^ Or else I shall feast upon your soul!!!
ironori
But the problem with that is that he spoke again after I reported him, so he couldn't have logged off. He spoke, I reported him, he spoke again, I told everyone that he's lying, left, came back, and he's finally either gone or shut up. "People are idiots. Loge_05
Report him for Password Scamming. You reported him for Item Scamming. Offline and unavailable.
ironori
'cept that I checked it against the chat script as I was typing, so I know that I spelled the name right. "People are idiots. Blaze The Movie Fan
Report him for Password Scamming. You reported him for Item Scamming. Well, this option only happens when you trade. Anyway, it's also possibility that he has some programs that shuts down any report abuse that affects on him. My suggestion is PM Jagex about this. And keep secret that you tried to report. Programs might be able to eliminate the "report" bottom to happen to you. But they can't prevent you from sending PM. Rule Breakers have their ways to prevent Jagex from being able to find out. Follow my advice. Trust me even Jagex Staff could be reported. Don't give up.
Loge_05
Report him for Password Scamming. You reported him for Item Scamming. Well, this option only happens when you trade. No, the option is always there to report for either Rule 2 or Rule 3: Item Scamming and Password Scamming respectively. If you report for Item Scamming without having traded the person then you will get the message the authir is describing. Don't message Jagex about this as you will only receive the auto-answer telling you to consult the Rules. Programs cannot eliminate the Report option from the Client-side. Offline and unavailable. BoffoBoy
Anyway, it's also possibility that he has some programs that shuts down any report abuse that affects on him. uh? huh? seriously think about this. A report is between the reporter and the server... in no shape or form does the target of said report have any recourse other than simply log out from the server before the report is made. to 'hack' this process would need to intercept and modify communications from the reporters pc and the server. If so, they already know your log in and password and recovery and friends list and where you are now.... not the type to spam one of the oldest scams from varrock bank for cheap account access. Why spread rumors about 'hacks' like this? Honestly. Cheers! -BB
ironori
There's no shame in reporting scammer; I told the entire bank that I reported him. "People are idiots. Don't give up. dude, are you sure you know what you are talking about? there is no way that anybody could prevent being reported. jagex staff can be reported, but what is going to come from doing that? a warning for false reporting? the problem was that you either mistyped his name, or you were reporting him for item scamming rather than password scamming. there is no way he could have blocked you from reporting him.
