is a whip really worth it?

well whips look mighty and tempting an all but are they really worth the cash?. i have 70 att 70 str and 52 def and heard thats its good training for attack and defence. i have a d scimmy and thats pretty good and hits often but would a whip hit more and higher?. also is the special good or bad?. :-k

The spec is junk, but the overall performance more than makes up for it. Definatly worth it, especially since it is so cheap now.

yes its good.. it gives high str bonus .. and attack as fast as a scimmy

It's definatly worth it in the long run, great for exp, hits high, good for Pking, etc. It may not be as good when you first get it, you need a bit higher attack and strength level to use it to it's full potential, and when you wield a new weapon (this may be just me?) they usually hit less often than normal for a while. :|

u say u got 52 defence so i will suggest that u buy a whip and get ur def to 70, and the whip is the best weapn in the game but not the spec so i always bring some super atk pots and a dragon b axe for spec. but the only negative with the whip is that u cant really train strenght with it only controlled for strenght exp but i would suggest u buy 1

Heck yes. They hit wonderfully and major attack and deffence xp.
