My favorite place to chop yews is in the Gnome Stronghold ... lots of trees with a close bank. The worst 2 places I have seen are seers and edgeville ...

I did it a bit differently and it was really fast. I went to the Dorg mines and got my mining up with Iron and then selling them. I then bought gold ores and crafted them with the gauntlets and got 65 smithing fast. I also bought flax and spun them for bow strings which I needed for my fletching anyway since I high alch yew longs for magic lvls. Smithing can be really painful if your making cannon balls!

I went to Wilderness AGI course for the 1st time and got DDS Specialed by a high lvl noob. To make AGI training effective you keep your HP low so the damage is minimal and eat when you have to. If someone comes up and DDS you even once youll die. Its definitely a much better success rate than ape atoll (where I train) but beware of PKers ...

Thf will be the easiest and quickest profit Herbalore can be extremely profitable but is slow and takes a while to collect all the ingredients Agi is just painfully slow although it really helps at higher lvls

I tried the wilderness course and some high lvl noob DDS specialed me and I was dead ... if you dont want to waste time like noobs I would stick to the ape atoll ... your fail often but you wont die.

I read somewhere that cooking gaunlets help ... oh well ... THANKS!

Hey DeadPolkadots, I am currently keeping an excel of all plantings and harvests. I wanted to get at least 100 results so we had a more accurate idea on average harvest results. At the moment my average harvest is 6.67. Keep up the good work!

Thats is an incredibly low price. I consistently sell prayer pots (3) for 7k each. You got a GREAT deal! You could resell those for 8k each easy.

I would like to make an addition. Growing Ranarrs can be incredibly profitable using 5 patches but I generally use just 1. The one in the Troll Stronghold will never get diseased. The only way this works is if you cant get on to play very often. (Perfect during school/work). Simply take a dueling ring, 2law 2 fire runes, 5 seeds. Once you teleport to the stronghold run up and get your equipment from the leprechaun. Now you simply weed, super compost, plant, and log out. Every 90 minutes log in and harvest, super compost, and plant again. If generally takes 2 minutes for the whole process. Usually after 4 seeds youll have to teleport and bank your ranarr. Using this method since your not playing anyway you can easily make over 600k per hour just by logging in when you get the chance!

From what I can tell though Ecto gives more experience than the gilded altar (according to prayer calculators). The only benefit from the altar is proximity to a bank??

Yeah ... sorry for posting in the wrong forum. 70+ dry runs is brutal I dont have Gunthans (trying to at least get a few pieces by doing this!) I think I need to try more battles without ppots. Thanks everyone for helping me out!

I guess with the expense of prayer pots the profit can be quite rough. I generally grow my own ranarr and make ppots (other than having to buy the seeds) so its not terribly expensive. I generally go through about 3-4 ppots a trip which at my level seems high. Are people not praying and just eating to save on the ppots?

I just started doing Barrows and finished my 5th trip. My 1st trip took almost an hour since I didnt want to die and triple checked almost everything. After the 1st run I realized this is actually not to hard at all. My problem now is I would like to do more than 1 run but after I am in the tunnels and got the treasure I cant find the stairs out again??? Is it better to just Ecto Teleport and hoof it back? Also ... in my 5 trips all I have gotten are coins and runes :x . I realize I am not going to get a barrows drop all the time but I am not even getting bolt racks?? Am I doing something wrong? What is to be "expected" with regards to drops? I have read of people doing 20+ trips without a drop. Also how long are people taking to do 1 trip? Thanks! Ninjai07

I have world hopped all the main worlds 2, 6, 100, and a bunch of other worlds with no success ... is there a designated world for temple building?

Willows in Draynor Village is by far the fastest exp.

Yes the cutting time is faster the higher your lvl but not 2x faster ... its probably barely noticable except over a long period of time.

Hill giants are probably the worst. Hill Giants --> Hobgoblins --> Cockatrices

Do you need to be equipped the weapon for the special to take effect? ie - For the Guthan special do I need to be fully equipped plus the warspear. or do i need to just be wearing helm, platebody, and skirt? or do i just need 1 thing??

Its just for the money. I stole 100's of silk and banked em all. A few days later (you have to wait since the silk merchant will call you a thief :roll:) you can sell em back for 60 each. Not a whole lot of money but if your in need and stealing lots anyway you could walk aways with 10k plus pretty quickly.

I always thought it would be nice to have a quide on questing. Not really "how to do them" per se ... those have all been done. I am thinking more of a quide on which ones to do and when and how to multitask them. It seems there are some good opportunities to do multiple quests at the same time if someone can figure out which ones there are! This could prove invaluable to saving time and bank space while still getting some bonus exp in whatever skills are involved.
