July 16, 200619 yr One whole forum dedicated to player events seems a bit steep. Why not have a Community forum? For members to post their events; new members to introduce themselves; and for members to find groups of Tip.Iters for KBD, KQ trips etc. This would cut down on clutter in the General Forums. Offline and unavailable.
July 16, 200619 yr We had one. It didn't work out. Ideally the idea of having less clutter in gen p2p seems great, and I was one of the biggest supporters of getting one, but when it was put in it became a mess of spam and people stopped looking there, tip it events starting declining in attendants, it was hard for mods to keep moving things, and it was decided best to remove the board.
July 16, 200619 yr And as we've previously announced, the TET is currently on holiday for part of the summer. But once August rolls around, there will be lots of news about Tip.It events and how we announce them, including a brand-new events database. So any need for an "Events" forum will be drastically reduced. But please be patient -- once the Events Team is back, things will once again start rolling along, and you'll see lots of changes. P2P is becoming quite cluttered with lots of topics where users are posting they're house parties, drop parties, combat tournaments, level threshold parties, etc. He may be saying that Gen P2P is becoming a clutter since construction and the "house parties". I even post "HYT INVASION" events there. Or, maybe, thats just the best place for those. Not offering an opinion here, just clarifying what I think this guy is talking about. A circus in Runescape?? Yep, but as adam said above we used to have a board for user's events but it just didn't work out. (also house parties can be posted in a sticky in blogscape)
