Whoops...tnx I cut and pasted from my (edit: website space with lots of friends and bands...you know...)...tried to remove non-punk, such as Oingo Boingo, but obviously missed a few. There's also some that are definitely more hardcore than punk and probably some celtic/irish or country with punk influence (i.e. - Lucero).

I know...a bit overwhelming...be sure to check these out:

Bigwig

Thought Riot

Strike Anywhere

A Wilhelm Scream

Aiden

Anti-Flag

Rise Against

The Hollowpoints

Stretch Armstrong

Ten Foot Pole

and of course:

Social Distortion

Descendents

Since you like Lagwagon, try Bad Astronaut...a little mellower, but good...singer = Joey from Lagwagon

hey, thanks again!

i got myself about 3 to 4 songs of those bands (in the small list) and browsed through. some stuff sounds decent, but considering my current mood it will probably take some weeks to absorb all those new impressions. it's whatever i pick up, i dive deep into it. so it's an important decision what to pick up at all.
